THE WORKSHOP
Just like a car, bikes slowly wear out and need to be serviced from time to time to keep them safe and running at their best.
We offer a full workshop service staffed by fully qualified mechanics who can keep your bike in top condition. We stock components from most major manufacturers or can usually order in the parts you need the next day. However our workshop is a very busy place and depending on the time of year, you may need to leave your bike in for a few days in order to have it serviced.
We will not compromise safety by selling bikes unassembled in the box. We guarantee all the work done by our workshop.
FREE SERVICE CHECK
When you buy a bike new from Avanti Plus Robina you can rest assured that it has been safely assembled by a qualified mechanic.
On top of that we make it our business to see that you are taken care of after the initial purchase. We offer a FREE six week service on all bikes we sell.
Bronze Service:
Check wheels are true on bike, & do minor true (additional cost to tension & true per wheel in a truing machine if needed)
- Adjust cones in hubs
- Check tyres are correctly inflated and inspect for wear
- Adjust & lube brakes front & rear
- Replace cables or pads if needed* this applies to cable disc brakes
- Hydraulic brakes adjust calipers check fluid
- Replace pads/ fluid if needed*
- Check rear derailleur
- Hanger alignment
- Adjust gears front & back
- Replace cables if needed*
- Adjust headset
- Adjust bottom bracket
- Tighten crank bolts, pedals, seat & stem, brake and gear levers, handle bars, and handle bar stem
- Inspect chain line for wear and lube exposed cables
- Wipe down Bike
- Test ride Bike

This service covers adjustment and inspection of existing parts on the bike and does not include the price of new parts if required
Silver Service:
This service includes the General Service Check plus Strip and Re-grease Hubs
- Disassemble hubs front and rear
- Clean out old grease from bearings
- Inspect hubs and cones for wear
- Replace parts if needed*
- Repack hubs with new grease and balls and adjust

This service covers the adjustment and inspection of existing parts on the bike and does nut include the price of new parts if required.

Platinum Service:
Our Platinum service is where your bike gets completely disassembled and rebuilt
- Take wheels out of bike
- True rims and tension spokes in a truing machine
- Replace broken spokes if needed*
- Take hubs apart, clean out old grease and bearings, and inspect hubs and cones for wear
- Replace worn parts if needed*
- Inspect chain line for wear
- Take chain, cluster, derailleur’s and cranks off bike
- Clean in parts washer removing old oil, grease, and mud off parts
- Put parts back on bike lube the freewheel and chain
- Strip, clean re-grease and refit headset
- Strip, clean re-grease and refit bottom bracket
- Reset wheels in bike
- Replace brake cables (cables included in price)
- Adjust brakes front & back, replace pads if needed*
- Hydraulic brakes
- Adjust callipers replace fluid (fluid included in price)
- Replace pads if needed*
- Replace gear cables (cables included in price)
- Check rear derailleur hanger alignment, adj gears front & back
- Tighten and torque crank bolts, pedals, seat, brake, gear levers, handle bars, and handle bar stem
- Check tyres are correctly inflated and inspect for wear
- Clean wheels and polish rims
- Test ride bike
Note:
This service covers the adjustment and inspection of existing parts on the bike it also includes approximately $50.00 worth of gear/brake cables and fluids. It does not include the price of new parts not set out in the original price of the service. All other parts required will be at additional cost.
